Overview
The PhilSA AD ASTRA (Advanced Degrees for Accelerating Strategic Space R&D and Applications) Scholarship Program supports outstanding Filipinos who wish to pursue graduate studies and research in fields related to Space Science, Technology, and Applications (SSTA).
This program is open to individuals seeking to enroll in Master's or Doctoral degrees — including full, partial/lateral, or sandwich-type programs — at local or international higher education institutions (HEIs).
By investing in advanced education, PhilSA aims to cultivate a new generation of Filipino scientists, engineers, and policy experts who will lead in developing strategic space capabilities for the nation.
Supported Courses
The program supports a wide range of disciplines related to Space Science, Technology, and Applications (SSTA). Scholars may pursue full, partial/lateral, or sandwich programs in the following areas:
